Saathi House events
Saathi House hosts numerous events throughout the year, including creative workshops, development sessions and training classes. Many of our events are run in-house with many more in collaboration with partners, tenants and sister organisations.
Since March 2020, all of our events have being moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions. For the health & safety of all of our service users, staff, guests and patrons, this continues to be the case.

Creative arts programmes for North Birmingham
Our Gallery37 events include a host of engaging and interactive community events to inspire and empower residents in North Birmingham and beyond.
Led by Saathi House in collaboration with city-wide partners, our series of G37 Masterclasses, mini-masterclasses and interactive public arts workshops will be taking place online and offline (when time and circumstances permit) throughout the year and through to 2022.

Sewing and textiles sessions
Saathi House has for many years run a weekly sewing and textiles sessions for eager sewing enthusiasts of any skill level.
Since March 202, these sessions have been taken online and are maintained using remote learning via WhatsApp 1-2-1 and group sessions.
Media Labs and Newsroom training
Saathi House partners Migrant Voice run weekly newsroom sessions for individuals from migrant communities to learn skills to amplify their stories, experiences and voice.
As part of the regional MiFriendly Cities project in the West Midlands, the empowerment charity also has been running regular Media Lab sessions, inviting journalists to share their skills and journeys with attendees. Many of the Birmingham session have taken place at Saathi House since early 2019.
