This week our AHHP (Aston Hall Heritage Project) girls had the pleasure of exploring one of Birmingham’s most iconic historical landmarks, Aston Hall. Nestled in the heart of the city, this stunning mansion offers the perfect setting for a day of discovering history and a bit of unexpected adventure.
The girls began their visit with a guided tour through the beautifully preserved rooms of the Hall. From the grand staircases to the stunning ceilings, we got a real sense of what life was like in the 17th century. The tour guides were full of fascinating stories and hidden details that brought each room to life. But the highlight of our visit had to be the special access we received to the servant’s quarters in the attic, a part of the Hall not usually open to the public!
After the tour, we wound down with a peaceful walk through Lady Holte’s garden.
All in all, it was a day full of learning, laughter and unforgettable memories. Until the next AHHP adventure!
